How to Make a New Online Account on Your PS3

Turn on Playstation 3, and access the setup menu. Scroll to the "User" column and select "New User."

Enter username and tap "X" to continue. Scroll all the way over to the right, tap "X" when you reach "Network."

Select "Playstation Store" and tap "X". Select "Yes, I want to create a new account" and tap "X". Read over the privacy policy and tap "X" on "Continue."

Select country of residence, preferred language and date of birth. Tap "X" on "Continue." Enter email address, and then create a password (6-digit minimum); enter it twice for confirmation. If you already have an account, enter a different email address.

Tap "X" over the check box to agree to the terms and conditions. Tap "X" to continue. Choose a "Gamertag" display name, and then tap "X" to continue.

Enter first and last name, and then tap "X" to continue. Enter physical address, and then tap "X" to continue.

Scroll down on the review screen to review the information entered. Tap "X" on "Confirm" to finish. Once you do this, select an avatar and begin using your account.
