How to Download Demos on PS3

Creating a PlayStation Network Account

  Connect your PS3 to the Internet.

  Highlight the "PlayStation Network" section of the menu.

  Select "Sign Up for PlayStation Network."

  Select "Create a New Account."

  Enter your date of birth and country of residence in the fields provided. Select "Continue."

  Read the full user agreement and select "Accept."

  Enter your email address and desired password in the fields provided with the onscreen keyboard. Fill in the security question response. Select "Continue."

  Enter your desired online ID and select "Continue."

  Enter your name and address. Select "Continue."

  Review your profile and select "Confirm" to create your account.

Downloading Demos

  Highlight the "PlayStation Network" section of the menu.

  Select "PlayStation Store." Enter your email address and password, and select "Sign In."

  Select the "Demos" tab on the PlayStation store page. Browse the available demos and find one you wish to download.

  Select the demo and select the orange "Download" button. Select "Download" again to begin downloading or select "Continue Shopping" to return to the PlayStation store.

  Select "Download in Background" while the demo is downloading to continue shopping or playing games while the demo downloads. When the demo has finished downloading, a message in the top-right of the screen will notify you.

  Tap the "Circle" button until you return to the main menu. Highlight the "Games" section of the menu and select your demo file to install it. When it has finished installing, select the demo to begin playing.
