Moving Characters
You can use the left analog stick or the directional pad (D-pad) to move characters. The "X" button causes the character to jump. Characters will attack or evade when the "Square" button is pressed. The "Circle" button activates any special abilities, including grappling or using the Force. The "Triangle" button switches controls from one character to another.
Moving Vehicles
Vehicles can be moved by tilting the Sixaxis controller, but the left analog stick or D-pad can be used as well. The "Square" and "Circle" buttons fire weapons, and the "X" button activates each vehicle's special move.
Unlock Characters
Additional "Star Wars" characters can be unlocked for free play mode by completing chapters in story mode or purchasing the characters in the Cantina with Lego studs.
Obtain Gold Bricks
Gold bricks can be obtained by completing chapters in story mode, achieving "True Jedi" status for a chapter, collecting the 10 Lego canisters hidden in every chapter, completing the extra missions and purchasing them at the Cantina.
Free Play
In free play mode, you can play through chapters already completed in story mode with any unlocked "Star Wars" character you wish. Characters can be switched by pressing the "L1" or "R1" button.
