How to Defeat the Pyramid Head Boss in Silent Hill 2

There are several difficult boss fights during the course of the survival horror game "Silent Hill 2." The first battle is with a nightmarish creature named Pyramid Head who wields a gigantic sword. To win the battle you simply need to properly avoid his attacks for an extended period of time.

Things You'll Need

"Silent Hill" 2 PS2 or XBOX game
Playstion 2 or XBOX game console

Instructions

  Play through the game until the main character gets locked in a room in the Blue Creek Apartments with the boss called Pyramid Head.

  Allow Pyramid Head to walk towards you and prepare to swing his massive sword.

  Run to the far end of the room and stand in the corner. Turn around to face Pyramid Head and watch for him to finish his slow attack.
- 4
  Sprint to the other side of the room when Pyramid Head has made his way about halfway through the room towards you and wait for him to swing his sword again.
- 5
  
  Repeat the process repeatedly, running to one side and waiting for an attack and then running to the other side, until you hear a siren. You will then win the battle as Pyramid Head will be forced to leave the room.
