Connecting Your PlayStation Model SCPH-5501
Connect the RF unit to the "multi AV out" port on the back of the PlayStation game console. Make sure the connection is tight.
Connect the other end of the RF unit to the coaxial port on the back of the television. If you don't know what a coaxial port is, look for the port that the television cable wire connects to. Disconnect the cable wire and connect the RF unit to that port. Reconnect the cable line to the port marked "ANT" on the RF unit.
Plug the PlayStation into a wall socket.
Turn on the PlayStation and television.
Make certain that the channel on the television matches the channel on the RF unit.

Determine if your television and VCR have A/V inputs.
Purchase an RF unit if the TV and VCR do not have A/V inputs.
Connect the RF unit to the ports on the back of the PlayStation game console. Be sure that the silver pin in the center of the RF unit is lined up with the port marked "RFU DC out." Make sure that the connection is tight.
Connect the other end of the RF unit to the coaxial port on the back of the television. If you don't know what a coaxial port is, look for the port that your cable television wire connects to. Disconnect the cable wire and connect the RF unit to that port.
Reconnect the cable line to the port marked "ANT" on the RF unit.
Plug the PlayStation into a wall socket.
Turn on the PlayStation and television.
Set the television channel to the channel of the RF unit.
