Secret Characters
Throughout the game, there are hidden characters you can find and use to help you. To find Lorele, go to the ruined castle of Barbaros. Walk through the exit that's by the priest and head back toward the stairs. Near the stairs, you'll find a secret entrance that will take you directly to Lorele. To find this entrance, push on the walls on the right side of the stairwell. Another hidden character in the game is Percy, the Black Night. If you can get through 15 rounds of not fighting him, he will run away and eventually join your team.
Extra Money
If you have the original version of "Beyond the Beyond," you can use a bug in the game to earn an infinite amount of money. Equip one of your characters with a ring and then try to sell the ring for money. If the bug is present in your game, you will get money for the ring but will keep the ring to sell again. This can be repeated over and over again. If this cheat doesn't work in your version of the game, there's still a way for you to get extra money. Go to the northeastern most building in Daytime Luna and talk to the first man you come across. If he gives you a "Mystic Vase," sell it to the other man in the room. If he gives you any other type of vase, you can sell it to the weapons man for a profit.
Ring of Defense
Give yourself two extra defense points by locating the Ring of Defense in the graveyard where Samson runs into a grave to hide. While you're in the graveyard, search the grave located in the left corner of the screen. This is where the Ring of Defense is hidden.
Treasure Chest Key
If you want to access any of the treasure chests you find in the game, you'll need to find the treasure chest key. To locate the key, go to the Cave of the Sleeping Dragon. Go only after you've reached the Enclosed Valley, however, otherwise the key won't be present.
Resurrection Spell
To give one of your characters the Resurrection Spell, take the boat to the northeast of Marion and look for an alcove of rocks. Continue sailing until you come to the end of the alcove and are able to get off your boat and onto the rocks. To the east, you will find a cave that contains a pot. When you look into the pot, Merlin the Magician will appear and grant you the Resurrection Spell.
