How to Burn & Use Gameshark

Original PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 game discs from Sony are often expensive. Therefore, creating backup copies of your original game CD or DVDs can help protect your investment. Replacing an inexpensive writable disc is much easier to bear than having to replacing a costly original. However, most firmware versions for the PS2 or PS3 do not recognize games on burned discs. To play games from backup discs, you must purchase a burnable version of GameShark and use the application to boot your PS2 or PS3 before you can run games burned or copied on backup discs.
