Go to Dark Dizzy's level. Make your way through the space station until you reach the gravity-swapping pillars. Jump into the fourth pillar twice to reverse the gravity. Walk forward to the platform that appears to get the Heart Tank.
Enter the Mattrex's level. Proceed through the volcano until a river of lava starts to flow toward you. Jump in the hole to protect yourself from the lava. When the lava goes away, go down to the bottom level. Walk left. Jump through another hole. Dash to the right to grab the Heart Tank. Head back up before the lava reappears and kills you.
Play the Skiver's level. Proceed to the elevator. Ride the elevator up. When the elevator reaches the second gap in the wall, walk to the right. Take the Heart Tank at the end of the platform.
Enter Grizzly Slash's level. Go to the truck yard. Climb up the trailers between the trucks. Jump to the roof of the eastern trailer. Equip the Gaea Armor. Walk across the spikes and get the Heart Tank. If you try to touch the spikes without the Gaea Armor, Mega Man dies instantly.
Go to Izzy Glow's level. Put on the Gaea Armor. When the stage begins, jump down the first hole you see. Destroy the bridge to fall down to the bottom floor. You land on some spikes. Head across them to pick up the Heart Tank.
Enter Squid Adler's level. Go through the level until you reach the door to Squid Adler's boss room. Stand on the first door lock to open it. Go through the tunnel. Jump up to the gap in the ceiling. Shoot two of the blocks on the overhead ledge. Push the third block to the right. Shoot the door lock to open the door. Go inside the room and get the Heart Tank.
Go to Axel the Red's level. Equip the Gaea Armor. Proceed through the jungle until you reach some vines. Destroy the block beneath the vines. Go right and jump over three more blocks. Move the block on the platform to the right. Go down and shoot two blocks behind you. Push the last block to the right. Stand on the block and dash-jump to the right. Grab the Heart Tank.
Enter Duff McWhalen's level. Defeat the U-555 machine and go to the underwater ship. Equip the Falcon Armor. Walk to the right until you reach a spike-lined hole. Go up through the hole. Use your thrusters to hover across the gap. Pick up the Heart Tank.
