How to Recover Magic Points in Final Fantasy Tactics

"Final Fantasy Tactics" is a tactical role-playing game released on Sony's PlayStation game console. Like most "Final Fantasy" games, to restore a player's magic points, you must use an Ether or Elixir item. Unlike most "Final Fantasy" games, however, only characters with the Chemist job class can use items in "Final Fantasy Tactics." This means that if you need to restore your magic points, you must switch your player's job to Chemist and then use an Ether or an Elixir.

Instructions

  Move your character selection cursor over the character that you want to turn into a Chemist. Press the "Triangle" button, highlight the "Job" option and press the "X" button.

  Highlight the "Chemist" job class and press the "X" button to change the character's job to Chemist.

  Move your character selection cursor over the Chemist character and press the "X" button to select the character. Highlight the "Items" option and press the "X" button.

  Highlight the "Ether" or "Elixir" item and press the "X" button to select the item. Ethers only restore a character's magic points, while Elixirs restore magic points and hit points.

  Move your character selection cursor over the character whose magic points you want to restore. Press the "X" button to use the item on that character and restore his magic points.
