How to Get Squall's Lionheart

Lionheart is the ultimate weapon of Squall Leonhart in the game "Final Fantasy VIII." Contrary to popular belief, you don't need a gun magazine to have it crafted; all you need are the ingredients and a visit to any junk vendor. The components can be difficult to farm, however, as you'll need to be at least Level 50 to have the Lionheart crafted. In addition, you need to have learned Ifrit's "Refine Ammo" skill, so spend some time developing that Guardian Force.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel to the shores of Long Horn Island; here you will need to kill two Adamantoise. Refrain from mugging or stealing, as this will prevent them from dropping the Adamantine you need.

  Refine two energy crystals using Ifrit's "Refine Ammo" skill to create 20 Pulse ammo. You can obtain the crystals by refining 20 Elynole cards, or farming Level 50+ Elynoles or Level 80+ Ruby Dragons.

  Travel to the island closest to Hell. Here you will need to kill a Blue Dragon; it will drop dragon fangs. You will need four. They are a rare encounter, however, so this might take some time.

  Visit any junk vendor, where you will exchange all of your components, along with 2,000 Gil, to get Squall's gunblade remodeled into the Lionheart.
