How to Play MDS Files on ePSXe

An MDS image is a type of compressed file that contains the data generally found on a CD or DVD-ROM for backup purposes. EPSXe is a computer application that emulates PlayStation video games and community-developed projects distributed over the Web. The emulator supports a wide range of features such as the ability to launch physical media and stored backups, including MDS image types.

Instructions

      Double-click to launch the ePSXe emulator using its main program shortcut.

      Click the File menu, and then select Run ISO from the list of options displayed.

      Navigate to the location where the MDS image file resides. You may browse common locations from the left navigation pane, or select another destination from the Look In field toward the top of the dialog screen shown.

      Double-click to launch the MDS image file with ePSXe. It may take several seconds for the game to load.
