How to Get Pesmerga in Suikoden 1

Suikoden 1 for the Sony PlayStation is a roleplaying game released in 1995 by Konami. One of Suikoden's main facets revolves around recruiting NPCs (non-player characters) for your army. Each NPC had his or her own reason for joining your army. You can recruit up to 108 total characters for your army. Pesmerga does not reveal many details of his life beyond that he is at odds with the Black Knight Yuber and has been pursuing him for quite some time.

  Travel to Neclord's castle.

  Take the stairs to the second floor of the castle. Continue along the path the room leads you on until you reach the balcony. Go along the left side of the balcony. Travel to the third floor.

  Go to the room in the upper right of this area. Examine the following paintings in this order: the Chestnut Tree painting, the Girl in Early Afternoon painting, the Peasant Girl and the King of the Night painting. Enter the door that opens.

  Go up the flight of stairs. Take the upper right door and head along the left side of the balcony. Go up the flight of stairs in this room. Talk to Pesmerga. He will join your party without any special requirements.
