How to Get Through Vines on Spyro the Dragon

"Spyro the Dragon" is an action-adventure game for the PlayStation (PSX), which allows you to play as a fire-breathing dragon. The game has enemies to defeat and many platforming elements that require you to figure out puzzles and how to overcome obstacles to progress through the game. Vines are frequently found throughout the game, and typically mark an area of the next path to follow.

Instructions

    • 1

      Advance Spyro toward any vines that block his path. These vines typically cover doors or holes that lead to an adjacent area.

      Point Spyro's head at the vines. You can do this moving the left analog stick in the direction of of the vines. Line up Spyro's head with the vines in order to destroy them.

    • 3

      Press and hold the "Circle" button. Spyro will spray fire onto the vines, causing them to catch fire and burn away.
