How to Get Nitrous Oxide in Crash Team Racing Without an Action Replay

"Crash Team Racing" is a game for the PlayStation set in the Crash Bandicoot universe. It is a high-octane, mayhem-filled racing game in which the player must take control of a range of characters to challenge the evil Nitrous Oxide. The player can unlock Nitrous Oxide and use him as a playable character, however, with a bit of effort, use of the right codes at the right time and some skill.

Instructions

- 1
  Play the adventure mode of the game. You must beat certain records on each track in order to collect relics. The platinum relics require particularly difficult records to be beaten. Play through all the tracks, break all the records, collect all of the platinum relics and defeat Nitrous Oxide in the final race.

  Go to the Time Trial mode. Race through all the tracks in order starting at Crash Cove. Select N Tropy as the challenger. His ghost car will race against you. Defeat N Tropy on every track.

  Race through all the tracks again but instead of racing against N Tropy, race against Nitrous Oxide.

  Go to the title screen of the game and enter the following code: Hold "L1" and "R1" throughout and press "Right" "Circle" "Triangle" "Left" "Down" "Circle" "Triangle" "Left."
