How to Get Money at the Beginning of Parasite Eve 2

The video game "Parasite Eve 2" features a powerful but conflicted heroine named Aya Brea who battles monsters and emotional turmoil throughout the game. In the game's opening scene, FBI agent Brea shoots at targets on a firing range. To learn agent Brea's story and eventually complete the game, you must acquire bonus points, or BP. Continue shooting targets at the beginning of the game to earn BP. These points are the medium of used to purchase ammunition, armor and healing items to ensure the survival of your character.

Instructions

Earn bonus points to survive the "Parasite Eve 2" video game adventure.

Choose the response, "I'm ready for more," when firing range supervisor Pierce Carradine asks, "Had enough for now?" Use the D-pad of the controller to highlight the response, then press "X" to select it; use the same procedure to execute options throughout the game. Additional firing range practice leads to five levels of bonus points and extra items.

    • 2

During practice, do not shoot blue targets; you lose points for doing so. Shoot red targets to gain 600 points, yellow targets to gain 200 points and brown targets to gain 400 points. Shoot as many targets as possible. You must hit a certain number of targets within a specified time limit to receive BP.

Follow the onscreen prompts and select a music option, weapon and practice level to begin shooting. On level 1, the player remains stationary as targets appear. Begin at this level and follow the onscreen instructions explaining how to aim and shoot.

    • 4

Progress through the remaining four levels to gain BP, bonus items and practice in maneuvering the Aya Brea character. Each shooting level provides instructions and practice for controlling the character. Level 2 provides practice in target switching, while level 3 provides practice in moving the character and using a GPS map feature of the game. Level 4 provides practice in using the character's Parasite Eve or PE powers, and level 5 provides practice in attaching or equipping items for use during battle.

Proceed to the armory/supply room to trade BP for equipment and pick up any earned bonus items. If you do not successfully complete a practice level, you may return to the firing range by choosing the option "need more practice" in response to Pierce Carradine's query, "Ready to go?"
