How to Get Cloud in Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1

As an Easter Egg for longtime players of the "Final Fantasy" series, "Final Fantasy Tactics" includes a cameo of The Flower Girl, also known as Aeris Gainborough, and features Cloud Strife as a playable character. Both of them are central figures in one of the most heralded video games of all time, "Final Fantasy VII." While Cloud joins the game late and is underpowered compared to other characters, he remains a must have for "Final Fantasy" enthusiasts.

Instructions

- 1
  Reach Chapter Four of the "Final Fantasy Tactics" storyline. At this point, all the locations and rumors necessary to acquire Cloud are available. Before beginning the quests, free up at least six spaces on the team's roster. You must have also completed the battle in Igros Castle against Dycdarge and have Mustadio in your party.

  Enter Zarghidas and purchase the flower, Aeris, for one gil.

  Travel to Goland and read the Ghost of Colliery rumor. Then go to Lesalia, complete the cut scene and invite Beowulf to join the party.

  Return to Goland and accompany Beowulf through a series of story battles to save Dragon Reis. The battle rewards Dragon Reis as a team member and a Zodiac Stone.

  Travel to Goug Machine City after rescuing Reis. After a brief cutscene concerning Ramza, Mustadio and a steel ball, use the Zodiac Stone on the ball. Worker 8, the robot, joins the party.

  Return to Zeltennia to read the Cursed Island rumor.

  Return to Goug Machine City to unlock the battle in Nelveska Temple. Complete the battle at Nelveska to restore Reis to her human woman form and receive another stone as a reward.

  Use the new item on the machine back in Goug Machine City. The machine opens a portal that summons Cloud into the world. He immediately runs off to Zarghidas.
- 9
  Travel to Zarghidas and help Cloud defeat the thieves who are harassing Aeris. Cloud joins the party following the battle.
