How Do You Make a Bard in Final Fantasy Tactics?

"Final Fantasy Tactics" is a tactical roleplaying game combining the game mechanics of "Tactics Ogre" with the creative team behind the "Final Fantasy" series. Players control a squad of soldiers they can promote through 20 different classes over the course of the game. The bard class is one of the most challenging to get, as the soldier must master seven other classes first. The character gains access to a whole new set of skills revolving around song once he becomes a bard.

Instructions

  Perform actions with a male apprentice during battle. Every action you perform grants you Job Points (JP). You get a class level once you earn enough JP. Gain at least two class levels with the apprentice.

  Open the troop menu between battles. Select the apprentice and then select "Change Class." Make him a Priest. Gain two more class levels to unlock Oracle. Make him a Wizard. Gain two more class levels to unlock Time Mage.

  Gain two more job levels with both the Oracle and Time Mage. This unlocks the classes Mediator and Summoner.

  Advance both Mediator and Summoner to class level four. You can now promote the soldier to a bard.
