How to Change Your PSN Avatar

PlayStation is one of the major gaming systems available, offering hundreds of games. The newest version, PlayStation 3, isn't just for playing games anymore. Sony had added the ability to watch Netflix, play Blu-ray discs and connect to the Internet. The PlayStation's Internet connectivity has helped users discover new games and make friends over the PlayStation Network. Your avatar gives your profile more personality, and you can change it whenever you'd like.

     Turn on your PlayStation and log in to your account.

     Select "Account Management" on the far right of the main menu by either pressing the right arrow button or moving the right analog stick on the PlayStation controller. Press the "X" button to select.

     Select "Account Information," then choose "Avatar."

     Choose an avatar from the available graphics.

   • 5

     Select "Confirm," and your new avatar should appear in the main menu.
