How to Play ISO Games on ePSXe

If you have a collection of original PlayStation games, but no console on which to play them, you can use the ePSXe emulator to enjoy them on your computer. The ePSXe emulator works like an actual PlayStation system. The emulator plays both CD games and PlayStation ISOs. An ISO is game data that is stored in digital form on the computer. They are used if you want to keep the original game disk safe.

Instructions

    • 1

Extract the ISO file, if necessary. You must extract files that are in RAR, 7Z or ZIP format. Right-click the file and select "Open" or "Extract."

    • 2

Launch ePSXe and click on "File" at the top of the window. Click "Run ISO." The "Open" window appears.

    • 3

Locate the ISO you want to load. Double-click it to load it. The game may not start immediately. Wait for a minute for the emulator to "read" the ISO.
