How to Use GameShark Codes for Akuji the Heartless

Plug your GameShark into the expansion port of your PlayStation. Make sure that the GameShark label is turned toward the front side of your PlayStation.

Insert the disc for "Akuji the Heartless" and turn your PlayStation on. The GameShark's main menu will load up automatically. Highlight the "Select Cheat Codes" option and press the "Start" button.

Locate "Akuji the Heartless" in the list of game names and press the "Start" button. The cheats may already be loaded onto your GameShark. If this is the case, press the "X" button to activate the codes and press the "Circle" button to return to the main menu and select the "Start Game With Selected Codes" option to begin playing. If "Akuji the Heartless" is not located in the game name list, continue to the next step.

Go to the "Select Cheat Codes" screen and highlight the "New Game" option to add "Akuji The Heartless" to your list of games. Enter in the game name using the "X" button to select characters then highlight the "Save And Exit" option and press the "Start" button. This will take you back to the main menu.

Return to the "Select Cheat Codes" screen and highlight "Akuji the Heartless" from the list of game names. Press the "X" button to access the "New Code Screen." Enter a description for the cheat you are using with the on-screen keypad and press the "X" button. Two new boxes will appear. The box on the left is the "Enter Code" box. Highlight that box and enter in the GameShark code you want to add. Press the "O" button when you are finished to access the options menu, select "Save And Exit" and press the "Start" button.

Select the "Start Game With Selected Codes" options at the main menu and press "Start" to begin playing.
