Instructions
Go to the west side of the room that you start in during the Challenge of Hades and jump to the elevated area. Examine the door to initiate a mini-challenge. An onslaught of enemies appears, and you must kill them within the confines of a glowing circle to complete a blood sacrifice ritual. Do this to open the door, then pass through it.
Jump across the platforms floating on top of the lava in the next room to get to a hallway. Roll to avoid the spikes to get into a maze. Go right at the first fork and straight at the second fork to get to a lever. Turn it to go to the next level. Push the block off of the platform, and run down the path in front of you before it collapses. Take the next two rights in the maze and kill all of the enemies in the room you find.
Proceed down the hall at the northwest corner of the room and take a left at the fork. This brings you to a door. Explore this area and kill every enemy you find to open the door, then pass through it. Proceed along the linear path until you get to a button near a statue. Step on the button, then jump into the water where the statue was. Flip the switch on the floor underwater, go back to the statue and use the lever on the back of its head to turn it 180 degrees. This opens a room. Go into it after saving your game at the save point near the stairs.
Run past the fireballs in this new area and kill any enemies you come across. Go through the door at the top of this hill to get some chests and replenish your health. Read the tablet for instructions, then go back to the fireball area. From the top, enter the third door on the left. Kill all of the enemies in this area to destroy the force field, then leave through the northwest. Kill all of the enemies in this area to be allowed passage. Climb the ladder, then jump to the ledge across from you to get to another area.
Use the narrow beams in this area to navigate along the linear path to a slide. Use it to slide down to the next level, then climb down the ladder. Follow the linear path, turn the wheel crank and continue down the path to get to a very large boss. To beat him, run to the south and jump on the ledge. Attack him relentlessly until he curls up. Run to the giant crossbow and launch a log at him. Run up and attack him until he is no longer stunned. Repeat this process until the creature is dead.
Go through the massive door at the north end of the room and follow the path up the stairs to find a coffin. Examine it to find the Architect's Son's Head. Continue along the path to find Hades, who teaches you a new magic spell, Army of Hades, as a reward for completing his challenge. Kill the enemies in this area using the new skill. Go through the door that Hades was blocking to get back to the main area of Pandora's Temple.
