Bonus Characters
To select alternate versions of Rugal Berstein, Kyo, Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Ryo Sakazaki, Robert Garcia, Yuri Sakazaki, Yashiro Nanakase, Shermie, Chris, Mai Shiranui, and Billy Kane, highlight their portrait on the character selection screen, hold down "L1," and then press any button to confirm the selection.
Stage Selection
Press the "Select" button at the order select screen to open the stage selection menu. Use the directional pad to choose a stage and then press "Start" to confirm the selection.
Reset Game
While playing, press the "Start" and "Select" buttons simultaneously to exit back to the main menu.
Unlock Omega Rugal
Beat the single-player arcade mode on any difficulty using Rugal and then save your game. The next time you load the save file, you can select Omega Rugal by holding down the "Start" button while selecting the normal version of Rugal at the character selection screen.
Fight Shingo Yabuki
There are three ways to earn a fight against Shingo Yabuki while playing through arcade mode. The first is to reach over 100,000 points before knocking out the CPU opponent in the third round. The second is to reach over 100,000 points and get a perfect victory against the CPU opponent in the fourth round. The third way is to defeat all the CPU opponents from rounds 1 to 5 without losing any team members.
Infinite Time
With the "Survival Mode" option highlighted, hold down"Start" and "Triangle" and then press "Circle" to start the game with unlimited time. This cheat works only in survival mode.
