Triple Play 2000 Baseball Cheats for PlayStation

"Triple Play 2000" is a baseball video game produced by EA Sports. The "Triple Play" franchise had the rights to authentic MLB players and teams, and as such allowed players to simulate their favorite baseball rivalries. "Triple Play 2000," like many baseball games of the era, has several cheat codes designed to help the player control the game.

Home Run
- When standing at home plate, you can make sure the next ball you hit is a home run by holding "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2" and pressing "Triangle," "Square," "Triangle," "Circle," "X," "Square," "Left" and "Right." If the cheat is done correctly, you will hear a thud.
Strikeout
- Automatically strike a batter out by holding "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2," and pressing "Up," "Down," "Triangle," "Square," "Circle," "X," then "Square" while on the pitching mound.
Weather Control
- Change the weather while playing either defense or offense by holding "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2," and pressing "X," "Down," "Triangle" and "Up."
Trivia
- By holding "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2," and pressing "Down," "X," "Right" and "Circle," you can make the announcers give a trivia question. This code can be input at any time during game play.
Historical Commentary
- By holding "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2," and pressing "Up," "Triangle," "Right" and "Circle," you can activate historical commentary.
Additional Info
- Force the announcers to give additional info on a batter by holding "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2," and pressing "Left," "Square," "Up" and "Triangle." This code works only for some of the batters in the game.
Remove Screen Display
- The screen display can be removed by holding "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2," and pressing "Triangle" and "Up" three times.
Camera Control
- Control the game camera by holding "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2," and pressing "Right," "Left," "Up," "Down," "Right" and then "Left" at any time during a game. The camera is operated by using the "L1," "L2," "R1" and "R2" buttons.
EA Dream Team
- In home run derby mode, the EA Dream Team can be accessed by holding "Up," "R1" and "L1." Press "Right," "Left," "Right," "Left," "Right," "Left," "Right," "Left," "Right," "Left" and finally "Right" again at the team selection screen to access the EA Dream Team in single game mode. The words "Triple Play Baseball" will sound if either of these cheats are done correctly.
