Play as Cyber Akuma

• Cyber Akuma is the secret boss who replaces Apocalypse as the final battle in the single-player campaign. He is an unlockable character that you can use during the various game modes of "Marvel Super Heroes versus Street Fighter." To unlock this special character, you must first defeat the single player campaign on the hardest difficulty setting without using any continues. Save the game and enter the character selection screen. Move the cursor over Akuma and press the select button five times. Then, press any button to choose the regular Akuma and he will be replaced by Cyber Akuma.

Unlock Secret Characters

• A number of additional characters are available to use while playing "Marvel Super Heroes versus Street Fighter." These characters look different in appearance and offer a few advantages over their regular counterparts. To play as Armored Spider-Man, enter the character selection screen and highlight Spider-Man. Hold down the select button and press any other key to select the armored version of the hero. To play as Evil Sakura, highlight the Incredible Hulk, hold select and press any other key. Evil Sakura moves faster and hits harder than the normal version; plus she can use the air fireball maneuver. To play as the main boss Apocalypse, you must first beat the game on any difficulty level without using any continues. Then enter the character selection screen and highlight Akuma. Press the select button six times and then press light punch.

Additional Secret Characters

• To unlock the special character, Shadow, first highlight Dhalsim in the character selection screen. Then, press and hold the select button while pressing any attack button to unlock the secret character. The dark character Mephisto from the Marvel Universe is available to use in this game. To unlock him, first highlight Omega Red in the character selection screen. Hold down the select button and press high punch to unlock the character. To play as US Agent, highlight M. Bison and press any button while holding down the select button.

EX Options

• To unlock the EX Options in "Marvel Super Heroes versus Street Fighter," complete this code while on the title screen. First, highlight the options selection and quickly complete the following button sequence: R1 button, circle, left, triangle and triangle. This will unlock the secret options that are not readily available from the very beginning.
