PS1 Cheats for Demolition Racer

"Demolition Racer," released by Pitbull Syndicate and Infogrames in August 1999, is a racing game for one or two players. With a rating of "E for Everyone" by the Electronic Software Rating Board, the entire family can enjoy the game. Because some cars, tracks or gameplay modes are not available for play right from the beginning, players must unlock them, either by playing through the game in its entirety or by using a cheat code.

Master Cheat Code
- Players who don't want to go through the hassle of unlocking all the various modes of gameplay, cars and tracks available, a single cheat code will do the trick. While at the main menu, press the "X" button twice, the "Square" button twice, the "Triangle" button twice and the "Circle" button twice. The sound of a car's engine verifies you have entered the code correctly.
Cars
- Beat Rookie Mode to unlock the Renegade and Mantis cars or finish Semi-Pro League to unlock the Predator car. Finishing Endurance Mode will unlock the Vandal car, and beating Arena Mode will unlock the Widowmaker car.
Tracks
- Finishing Semi-Pro League gives you access to four new tracks: Pelton Stadium, Meltdown, Hunter's Quarry and Scrap Heap. Beating Pro League unlocks three new tracks: Redneck Raceway, Chemical Plant and Go-Cart Carnage. Completing Endurance Mode will unlock all reversed tracks, allowing you to race previous tracks backwards.
Game Modes
- Beating Rookie League, Semi-Pro League and Chase Mode unlocks two game modes. Finishing Semi-Pro League, Pro League and Chicken Mode unlocks two additional game modes. Beat Pro League to unlock Endurance Mode, and beat Arena Mode to unlock Suicide Mode.
