PlayStation is a brand of video game consoles first introduced on September 9, 1995 with the PlayStation (PSOne). Each PlayStation device supports AV (audio/video) connections to connect to TVs, VCRs and DVD players. Most modern portable DVD players include the red, white and yellow AV inputs required to connect a PlayStation. Once you've connected the PlayStation to the portable DVD player, similar to a TV, you can play games once you've changed the video display mode of the portable DVD player from its DVD to AV display.
