Bonus Characters
This code adds six characters to the roster. Once the title screen loads, press "Right," "Left," "Down," "Up," "Right," "Left," "Down," "Up" and "Start." You hear a chime if you do this correctly. When you go to the "Character Select" screen, two versions of Super Saiyajin Trunks, three versions of Super Saiyajin Son Goku from both "Dragon Ball Z" and "Dragon Ball GT" and Super Saiyajin Vegito, the fusion between Goku and Vegeta, are made available.
Unlock Super Saiyajin 4 Goku
Goku's ultimate form, Super Saiyajin 4 Goku, as seen in "Dragon Ball GT," is another unlockable character for this game -- though he has his own cheat code. Unlock this supercharged character by pressing "Triangle" nine times, then "Square" nine times. Go to the "Character Select" screen to find him in the roster. Alternatively, if you happen to be playing the version of the game imported from Japan, press "Triangle" five times, then "X" nine times to unlock him.
Sound Test
If you care to listen to the any part of the game's sound track, enable the Sound Test cheat by pressing "L1," "L2," "R1," "R2" and "Start" together at the title screen. This brings up a new screen where you can select from the different music tracks on the disc. You can also learn more about a particular track by pressing "Select" after highlighting it. If you have the imported version of the game, do not press "Start" with the other four buttons.
Hidden Moves
Some of the characters -- namely Pan and all versions of Vegeta and Majin Buu -- have hidden moves that are not included in the Moves List. Pan's move, which fans of the series may recognize from the show, is somewhat difficult to execute because it involves some split-second timing. Press Down, Forward and "Square" to execute an attack. As soon as she starts it, hold Down and press "Square" again. This causes a fireball to appear, and it continuously attacks the enemy for a short combo attack that causes quite a bit of damage.
Vegeta and Majin Buu's attack is much simpler to execute and causes massive damage. When your Ki bar is full and your enemy is standing next to you, press Forward, Back, Down, Up and "Triangle" to "self-destruct." This causes your character to explode, but you do not take damage.
