How to Make an NES Controller Into a PlayStation Controller

Even though sleeker, more modern consoles have been released since the Nintendo Entertainment System, you may still have nostalgic thoughts of its classic controller. As an NES controller has far fewer controls than modern models, you will not be able to play current games with it. However, if you enable your PS3 to recognize NES games, you can use an NES controller to play those games. This will require an NES-to-USB adapter (available for purchase online) and emulator software, which you can download for free. Use emulator software only to run backup copies you have made of games you have purchased. Using emulators to run pirated games is against the law.
