How to Get the Pickaxe in the Pitfall Video Game for PlayStation

"Pitfall: The Lost Expedition" on the Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo GameCube expands upon the Atari original and brings it into the realm of 3D. In this "Pitfall" game, you play as the treasure hunter, Pitfall Harry, as he rescues the father of a female archeologist. Along the way, Pitfall Harry picks up weapons that will help him along the way. One such weapon is the pickaxe, which will help you climb to hard-to-reach areas.

Instructions

     Play "Pitfall: The Lost Expedition" until you get to Chapter 10. This is where the pickaxe is.

     Open the glowing door at the start of chapter 10 and you will see the pickaxe. Walk over to it to pick it up. Pitfall Harry can now use it to climb up steep mountainous areas.

     Use the pickaxe in the beginning of Chapter 11 to climb up the purple crystal walls.
