Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove the memory card from the memory card slot on the console.
Clean the memory card connectors using a damp cotton swab and allow the memory card to dry.
Clean the memory card slot with a damp cotton swab and remove anything that may be causing interference between the card and the slot.
Insert the cleaned card into the clean slot and determine if the console can read the memory card.
Remove the card from the memory slot and insert it into the second memory slot if cleaning did not fix the issue. If the second memory slot can read the memory card, this indicates something may be wrong with the first memory slot and not the card.
Insert a different memory card into the console's memory card slot and determine if the console can read the new card. If it can read the new card, the original memory card may be corrupted and will need to be replaced.
