How to Change the Characters' Names on Chrono Cross

In "Chrono Cross," you are the silent hero known as Serge, who becomes wrapped up in a mysterious plot that allows him to travel to another dimension. During your travels, you encounter 44 other characters that can be added to your team, each with different abilities and personalities. If you prefer to change the names of your teammates, this is possible by heading to Viper Manor. There, in the manor's library, a boy allows you to change the names of any character.

  Play through the game until you reach Viper Manor. Enter and head to the library.

  Walk behind the desk in the library and go down the ladder. In the room beneath the library is Epoch, a time machine, and a Beach Boy.

  Press "Select" to change the order of your characters, placing the one whose name you wish to change in the lead.
- 4
  Speak to the Beach Boy and choose to change your character's name. Use the onscreen keyboard to select a new name for the character. If you want to change other character's names, press "Select" again to put them in the lead, then talk to the Beach Boy again.
