How to Convert PSP Games Into Eboot

You can play a Playstation game on the PSP by converting the game to an eboot file. With game converter software such as PSX2PSP, the process is quick and simple. The eboot file can then be saved onto a PSP memory stick, eliminating the need to delete any old games to free up space.

Instructions

      Download and install Imgburn onto the computer. Follow the prompts to complete the installation. Reboot the computer if prompted. Place the PSX game into the computer's CD/DVD drive.

      Launch Imgburn and click "Create Image File From Disk." Click the destination icon and save the file to the area you prefer. Click the green arrow to create an ISO file of the game.

      Download and install PSX2PSP. Follow the prompts to install the application. Restart the computer if necessary.

      Launch the PSX2PSP file. Click "ISO/PBP" and select the game you just converted to an ISO file. Click the "Output PBP Folder." Designate a place to save the ISO file. Click "Convert" to create a PSP eboot file.

      Connect the PSP to your computer using the USB cable. Choose "USB Connection" from the PSP screen menu. Locate the eboot file and right-click it. Click "Copy" and right-click the game folder. Click "Paste" to transfer the eboot file to the PSP console.

      Disconnect the PSP from the computer. Select the eboot file from the game menu to begin playing.
