How Save Progress on Metal Gear Solid

"Metal Gear Solid" was a popular game made for the original Sony PlayStation. It has spawned several sequels for the PlayStation 2 and 3. Game saving in "Metal Gear Solid" is handled by the codec -- a radio-type device that Snake carries around with him. Mei Ling is the operator you'll call to save your game. You do not have to be at specific points to save; you can save at any time.

Instructions

  Push the "Select" button on your controller. This brings you to the codec control panel.

  Push the "Right" or "Left" button to adjust the codec dial. Tune into frequency 140.96. Push "Circle" to call the frequency. Mei Ling will answer the call.

  Select "Save" when Mei Ling asks you if you want to save. This brings you to the memory card screen. Select the slot you want to save the game in. If you are overwriting a previous file, simply select the previous save to save your current progress.
