How to Unlock Characters in Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22

"Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22" provides two ways of unlocking characters: getting them in "Build-Up Mode" or using a cheat code. The first method lets you acquire characters as you level up, unlocking each one as you defeat them in battle. Conversely, the cheat code can be entered at the game's title screen. The five characters that are unlockable are Kid Goku, Master Roshi, Hercule, SS3 Goku and Gogeta.

Instructions

- 1
  Defeat Kid Goku in Block 1 to unlock the character for gameplay. Beat Master Roshi in Block 2 to unlock him.

  Knock Hercule out in Block 3 to acquire that character. Beat SS3 Goku in Block 4 to get him.
- 3
  Defeat Gogeta in the final fifth Block to unlock him. Use any of the unlocked characters for gameplay.
- 4
  Enter "Up," "Triangle," "Down," "X," "Left," "L1," "Right" and "R1" at the main menu to unlock the characters without using Build-Up Mode.
