How to Get All Suikoden 2 Characters

Although there are no codes to unlock the more than 100 characters in Suikoden II, most characters are unlocked automatically through the events of the game. However, as the game progresses, unlocking certain characters will ultimately prevent other characters from being unlocked. You should speak to each character you encounter as many times as possible to encourage them to join you. Overall, most characters will join you after certain story events transpire, after you defeat them, or after you give them something.

  Speak to Humphrey in Highway Town and help him to unlock him. Talk to Valeria at Gregminster to earn her. When Tai Ho agrees to take you to Kuskus, talk to Rina and Bolgan to earn them both. Speak to Hanna in Toto Village and Jeane in Two River after Highland conquers Greenhill to earn them both. Talk to Anita in Banner Village to accept her into the party. Talk to Nanami in Kyaro behind your house. Speak to Hans in Two River's inn.

  Guide Teresa from the city to earn her as well as Nina of Greenhill. Speak to the Mayor in South Window to get Viktor. Go to the Cave of Wind once you have more than 100 stars, and talk to Pesmerga to get him. Go to Lake West on your boat, then go to South Window and speak to Clive, offering him a ride to get him to join you.
