How to Unlock Cars in Hot Wheels Extreme Racing

The Hot Wheels franchise is mainly known for its toy cars, but the franchise has also produced video games. Released in 2001 for the PlayStation console, "Hot Wheels Extreme Racing" is based off of the Hot Wheels Extreme series of toys. The player races around a track in a vehicle that changes as the track progresses. Do not be surprised to watch as your car transforms into a truck, boat, or airplane.

Instructions

- 1
  Play the single player campaign on easy. Learn the tracks and how to use the vehicles, and you will unlock two of the cars for beating it on easy. Cars are unlocked by earning trophies for beating the game. There are six cars you can unlock.

  Play on medium difficulty. Beating the single-player campaign will unlock some more cars. You will unlock two cars for beating the game.
- 3
  Play on hard difficulty. You will unlock all of the remaining cars once you have achieved the last trophy for beating the game. You will unlock two trucks for beating the game on hard difficulty.
