How to Wire a Playstation Controller to a PC USB

There appears to be a growing demand for not only playing PlayStation One games on a PC, but to also play homemade(homebrew) games on a PlayStation One emulator. Naturally, this leads to a growing demand for PlayStation One controllers that can connect directly to a PC. While this appears to be an impossible feat, it is made very simple through the use of PlayStation-to-USB cables, many varieties of which are available online.

Things You'll Need

• PlayStation-to-USB cable
• PlayStation One controller
• PC running Windows 98 or better

     Connect your PlayStation One controller into the port of your PlayStation-to-USB cable.

     Connect the USB end of the cable into a USB port on your PC.

   • 3

     Wait for the PC to detect your controller and offer to install drivers for you. Follow the installation prompts to install these drivers. Your PlayStation One controller will then be recognized by your PC as a device.
