How to Get Darkside in Twisted Metal 3

Plug your Gameshark accessory into the high-speed parallel port on the back of the PlayStation while the console is off.

Turn your PlayStation console on, without a game inserted, and let Gameshark boot up. A menu will pop up on your monitor.

Input the following code in the Gameshark menu in the section that says "Code"-- simply scroll down to it with your PlayStation controller's arrow pad:

You need this code turned on to play as Darkside, so set it to default "on," in your Gameshark options right next to the code entry box. You simply have to check the box labeled "set default to on?"

Enter the following two values separately on the Gameshark In Game Menu option:

D00D2D48 0002
and
800D2D48 0001

Select "Enter" or "Done" after each input.

Choose the option to create a code from the Gameshark In Game Menu and create the code:

Unlock Darkside

Select "Done" again.

Enter the value:

800D26F8 000E

on the Unlock Darkside code selection.

Leave the Gameshark plugged in, insert "Twisted Metal 3" and turn on your PlayStation. Make sure the In Game Menu is checked to the "on" position.

Start the game. If you see Auger (another character in the game) battling other cars in a free-for-all in the background of the main menu, you have done the previous steps correctly.

Select any type of gaming match from the main menu, then go to the character/car selection screen. You will now be able to select Darkside as a playable character.
