How to Play PS1 Backups

Unlike newer consoles, playing backups on the PS1 is a very simple process. Using Enhancer, a third party booting utility, allows you to quickly load and boot your backups without installing anything or voiding a warranty. This is the cheapest and most effective method of playing backups.

Instructions

      Plug the Enhancer into the back of the PS1 in the expansion slot. Turn on the PlayStation without a disc, which will take you to the Enhancer settings screen.

      While Enhancer is installed, insert one of your backups. You may be prompted to restart your PS1. (This will depend on the method you used to create you backup.)

      If you do not get a message indicating that you need to restart, wait a few moments and the backup will load. From here, your backup will work like the original.
