The Cars
Each car in Twisted Metal 2 has a distinct armory and personality. While most of the weapons in the game are universal (machine guns, homing missiles), each car has its own special attack that reflects the personality of the vehicle.
Characters
Twisted Metal's most iconic car, the ice cream truck driven by Sweet Tooth the mad clown, fires a napalm ice cream cone. The other drivers range from silent, faceless killers to a Ghost Rider-like figure to an undertaker. The vehicles are armed and decorated accordingly.
Fast Cars
Fast cars include Grasshopper, a dune buggy, Mr. Grimm, a motorcycle, and Twister, a race car. These tiny, nimble vehicles can duck heavy fire, but unfortunately their light armor can make them vulnerable to a single direct shot with a powerful weapon. Their armaments can be exceptionally powerful.
Heavy Cars
Heavy cars are lumbering armories usually armed to the teeth, but they pay for it in maneuverability and speed. Minion is the boss of the game, driving an armored car. Mr. Slam is a front-end loader construction vehicle and Warthog is a Hummer. Hammerhead is a monster truck and Sweet Tooth is an ice cream truck.
Moderate Cars
Moderate cars have medium speed, medium weapons and medium armor. If you like to keep things balanced while dishing out destruction, then these are the cars for you. Outlaw-2 is a police car. Shadow is a hearse, and Thumper is a pimped-out luxury car. Roadkill is a junker. Spectre is a sports car and Axel is a man strapped to two huge wheels.
