How to Get Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy VII was the first Final Fantasy game to appear on the PlayStation, and featured 3-D graphics for the first time. Various characters can be played in this game, but some of them are harder to get than others. This is a quick guide to acquiring Yuffie, the ninja, as a playable character.

Instructions

- 1
  Wander around the forests on the world map. You will fight various random battles in the course of doing this, but you must continue until you fight the Mystery Ninja.

  Defeat the Mystery Ninja. This should not be difficult, and can be accomplished simply by attacking a lot.

  Watch the screen until you notice you have entered a special resting scene with a ninja. Once you are in this scene, you must not do anything but talk to the ninja.

  Approach the ninja and start a conversation. You will need to select the correct response at each stage in the conversation; otherwise, the ninja will leave and you will have to start over again from Step 1.

  Select these responses in the following order: "Not interested," "Petrified," "Wait a second," "That's right" and "Let's hurry."

  Wait to see if you have run the pattern correctly. If so, you should see the ninja running after you, and Yuffie will have joined your party when you check the Menu screen. If not, try again by returning to Step 1.
