Navigate to a DVD conversion software site.
Click the "Download" button, then save the file to your computer.
Double-click the downloaded file, then follow the prompts on the screen until the program has finished installing.
Insert the DVD into your disc drive. If any DVD player program starts automatically, close the program.
Launch the DVD conversion application that you just installed.
Click the "DVD" or "Source" button at the top of the screen and select your disc.
Select the "PSP" or "To PSP" option in the "Output" section.
Click the "Browse" button and select a location on your computer for the converted video file.
Select the "Start" or "Convert" button and wait until the conversion has completed.
Use the USB cable to connect the PSP to an available USB port on your computer.
Navigate to the location you selected for your converted video, then right click on the file and select the "Copy" option.
Click "Start" in the lower left corner of the screen, then click "Computer" and double click on the icon for the Sony PSP.
Double click the "MP_ROOT" folder, then double click the "100MNV01" folder. If these two folders do not already exist on your Sony PSP, then right click inside the PSP folder and select the "New", then "Folder" option and rename the folder to "MP_ROOT". Note that capitalization matters. Double click your created folder, then create a new folder and name it "100MNV01."
Press "Ctrl + V" inside the "100MNV01" folder to paste your copied files.
