Transferring Files to PSP
Insert the Memory Stick in the "Memory" slot on the side of the PSP. Use the included USB cable to connect the PSP to your computer.
Use the directional pad to scroll to "Settings" on the PSP menu, and select "USB Connection." Your computer will detect the PSP. Click the "Open folders to view files" option in the auto-run window. A list of folders (such as Videos, Music and Photos) on the PSP and Memory Stick will be displayed.
Double-click to open the appropriate folder for the type of content you want to add to the PSP. For example, if you want to add an audio file, double-click the "Music" folder. Drag and drop the desired file(s) in the folder.
Playing Files/Games on PSP
Use the directional pad to navigate the XMB system. Left and right move between main system icons, such as Settings, Games and Movies. Up and down move between the sub-menus associated with the main system icons.
Select the appropriate system icon for the action you wish to take. For example, if you want to play a game on a UMD disc, open the UMD slot, insert the disc arrow side first and close the slot. Select the "Game" icon from the XMB. An animated thumbnail of the inserted game will play. Select the thumbnail and press the "X" button.
Other system icons (Movies, Music and Photos) feature a similar layout, including thumbnails and file listings, all accessible from their respective menus.
