Pull off one foot in length of aluminum foil from the roll. Double-duty aluminum foil will provide greater tensile strength and be less prone to tearing
Place the foil horizontally on a work surface. Fold the top over to the bottom and smooth the crease down. Repeat this procedure an additional time.
Fold the left side of the foil over to the right side. Smooth the crease down. Fold the upper-right corner of the foil over to the lower-left corner. Smooth the crease down.
Rotate the foil so that the point is facing away from you. Fold each of the bottom flaps (left and right side of the foil) into to the center of the foil and smooth the creases down.
Fold each of the bottom flaps into the center again and smooth the creases down. Tape the sides of the foil to each other with strips of cellophane tape.
Pull a piece of aluminum foil from the roll. Place the piece of foil horizontally on a table. Measure three inches up from the lower-left corner with a ruler. Cut across the length of the foil at the three-inch mark using a straight edge and the blade of a utility knife. Dispose the rest of the piece of aluminum foil.
Place the three-inch wide piece of foil horizontally on the table. Fold the top over to the bottom and smooth the crease down.
Tape one end of the 1.5- inch wide piece of foil to the point of the foil worked on earlier -- use cellophane tape to secure the two together.
Place a bath towel on a table. Place the PSP face down horizontally on the table with the disc drive door farthest from you.
Place the 1.5-inch wide piece of foil horizontally on the bottom edge of the PSP -- the folded foil is facing away from the PSP. Tape the 1.5-inch wide piece of foil to the bottom of the PSP with cellophane tape.
Turn the PSP over. Hold the PSP carefully so that you do not bend, or otherwise damage, the external antenna that you have made which will increase the signal being received by the internal antenna.
