How to Import an ePSXe Memory Card to a PSP

If you have been using a PlayStation emulator on your computer to play your favorite games, you may think that your saved games can only be used on that machine. With a bit of tweaking, you can enable your PSP to access the saved games from your computer. If you wish to transfer saved games in ePSXe format to your PSP's memory stick, you will first need to install the CWCheats plugin on your PSP.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect your PSP to your computer. This can be done using the USB cable that came included with your PSP. Once your computer detects the PSP, the PSP's memory stick contents will be displayed on your computer screen.

    • 2

Download the CWCheat installation folder from the CWCheat website. This folder will be in .zip format. Extract the folder to your desktop. Open the folder to view the contents. Open the "Install" folder. Locate the folder named "seplugins."

    • 3

Copy the "seplugins" folder to your PSP's memory stick. Save the folder within the root, or main directory of your folder. Do not create a separate folder for this folder.

    • 4

Hold up the power switch of your PSP for six seconds. Turn the PSP back on while holding down the "R" button. The screen will display the recovery menu. Select the "Plugins" option. Enable "cwcheat.prx." Exit the recovery menu. CWCheat is now installed.

    • 5

Plug the PSP back into your computer. Open the "seplugins" folder, then the "cwcheat" folder. Locate the "mc" folder. Copy the epsxe files to this folder.

    • 6

Disconnect the PSP from your computer. Hold down the "Select" button for three seconds to open the CWCheat menu. Select "Manage Memory Cards." Load your desired game file.
