How to Play a PSP Movie on a PC

The PlayStation Portable, most commonly known as the PSP, is a portable video game system that is also capable of storing and playing music and video files. If you have movies stored on your PSP, you can watch them on your personal computer by following these steps.

Things You'll Need

PSP Memory Stick
PSP-USB cable

Instructions

  Turn off the PSP, insert the Memory Stick which holds the movie files, then turn the PSP back on.

  Connect the PSP-USB cable to the device and an open port on your computer.

  Scroll to the left on the PSP and select the "USB Connection" option from under the "Settings" menu.

  Choose the "Open Folder to View Files" option from your computer to view the available video files.

  Drag and drop a video file from the PSP folder onto your computer to transfer it. Once transferred to your computer, you can remove the USB cable and play the file as you would with any other movie on your computer.
