How to Repair a Sony PSP Brick

When you brick your Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable), you damage the booting process of the device. This prevents the PSP from booting into its operating system. When this occurs, you need to reinstall the firmware from the PSP's service mode to restore the PSP's functionality. The only way to get the PSP into service mode is to use a service tool battery, also referred to as a Pandora battery.
