How to Download Music on a PSP From a Laptop

In addition to video playback and photo viewing, the PSP can also play music. Because of the PSP's limited storage space, a memory stick is required if you want to add more than four or five songs. As you would other media files, you can use your computer's file management system to drag and drop music from your laptop on the PSP. The PSP supports MP3, ATRAC, WAV and WMA audio formats.
