How to Update PSP Firmware Via the Memory Card

Keeping the internal software of the Sony PSP updated is critical to keeping the system operating smoothly and avoiding unexpected crashes. These updates, known as firmware updates, can be downloaded for free from the PSP and installed on the memory card.
