How to Get Internet on PSP With Linksys

Linksys makes a variety of wireless routers and wireless broadband modems that allow you to broadcast a wireless Internet network throughout your home. The Sony PSP features the native ability to connect to these wireless networks, which can allow you to play games online as well as download updates to your device. You can access your Linksys Wi-Fi network via your PSP at any time through the main menu.

      Turn on your Sony PSP.

      Ensure that the "wireless local area network" switch located on the top of the PSP is in the "On" position.

      Choose "Network Setup" from your PSP's XMB (crossbar) main menu.

      Select "Network Settings."

      Choose "Infrastructure Mode."

      Open the "Create a New Connection" option.

      Select "Scan." When your PSP returns a complete list of all available wireless networks, select the name of your Linksys wireless network.

      Select "Easy", and choose "Confirm."
